We had a wonderful opportunity to tell some of the stories of our trip to our church this week. We said a few words during the church service, and showed a few slides. And then, we presented to a couple of our small groups in the evening - many more stories, and many more slides!
Thank you all for your interest in our work. I hope that our message was not so much about us, but about the great privilige and blessing that it has been for us to serve our Lord, and to serve alongside brothers and sisters who also love the Lord. One of the things that I shared was that this work has certainly put a burden on our hearts for the people of Peru, for the patients we served, for the missionaries in Peru and Uruguay, and for the team members. I know that Wendi will also carry this burden from her trip to Bolivia with Women of Purpose: see her blog at www.WPSWOP.blogspot.com.
